Festivalen inleds med Morgonraga i dhrupadstil framfört av K G Westman på surbahar innan vi avnjuter mer samtida klassisk intrumentalmusik av Anurag Choudhary på bansuri och Eric Galvez på tabla. I pausen rekommenderas en rykande kopp chai.

Anurag Choudhary -Bansuri
Anurag grew up in India and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Indian Classical Music. He moved to Sweden in 2005 to continue his higher studies. As a trained concert flautist he regularly performs and promotes Indian Classical Music through concerts, workshops and collaborating with other international artists.
Eric Galvez -Tabla
Eric is a Swedish tabla player based in Stockholm who lived and studied music in Varanasi, India, between the years 2010 and 2016. He also holds a BA Linguistics from the Banaras Hindu University. Eric had the privilege to study with Pt Chhotelal Mishra before his passing and after that with Nitiranjan Biswas in Rotterdam. Trained initially in the Banaras style of tabla, his teachers always emphasized the importance of all gharanas and learning various styles for various purposes.
K.G. Westman -Surbahar
K.G. Westman is one of Europe´s foremost sitar players in the field of North Indian classical and semi classical music. As a senior disciple of Pandit Rabindra Narayan Goswami he has performed in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Egypt, Europe, USA and Russia as well as for radio and T.V. Due to training in both Indian and Western Music, he also makes an excellent teacher and conductor of workshops regardless of the background of the participants. In 2017 the album Sonashish was released on the Kolkata label Bihaan Music.
